Natural aloe vera and herb soap

Handmade soap, produced using the “cold” technique from plant oils, aloe vera juice, shea butter and camomile extract. The content of essential unsaturated fatty acids in plant oils moisturises and oils the skin, preventing it from drying. Shea butter smooths the skin, giving it a silky feel. Aloe vera juice soothes irritations and regenerates the skin. The soap is very gentle and nourishing, recommended for children and pregnant women. It contains orange, tangerine and eucalyptus essential oils, which soothe tension, reduce sleeplessness and cough.

Ingredients

Aloe Leaf Juice

Used in the food and beauty industry, especially in the Canary Islands, where it’s the main ingredient of their cosmetics. Extracted from the leaf pulp, aloe leaf juice is a source of many precious substances. The name itself sounds soothing. The moisturizing and calming properties of aloe leaf juice have been known for centuries. Aloe contains mineral substances and vitamins A, C, and B, as well as glycoproteins, polysaccharides that create mucilage, antranoids, and aminoacids. In cosmetics, aloe acts primarily as an enhancer of the protective barrier of the epidermis, a supporter of the skin’s healing processes, and as a softening, screening, and dryness-preventing agent. It is a powerfully concentrated “gel serum.”

Chamomile Extract

It is mainly an anti allergic and soothing ingredient. The extract comes from the flowers of chamomile, a herb common everywhere in Europe. It contains flavonoids, mucilage, carotenoids, mineral compounds, and an active substance, typical for this plant, called chamazulene, prized for its anti-inflammatory properties. It is especially recommended for children’s cosmetics.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of vegetable fats most resistant to oxidation, recommended in food as well as in skin and hair care. It improves the skin’s condition by limiting moisture loss, softening, and moisturizing. It also protects hair from protein loss. Recommended for dry, scaly, mature, and acne-prone skin.
