Ingredients

Amber extract

Amber is a resin derived from tertiary conifers. It has long been used in folk medicine as an anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic agent. In cosmetics, it is used for intensive care of dry skin. Being a strong antioxidant, it prevents free radicals, regenerates the skin and restores its healthy appearance. It is a natural UV filter.

Inulin

Although the name of this ingredient sounds exotic, it's extracted from the common chicory. Inulin is a fructan that belongs to polysaccharides, also found in Jerusalem artichoke, among others. This natural and ecological probiotic is used in baby skin care products. It nourishes the development of friendly bacteria, preventing the growth of harmful ones. Thanks to this quality, inulin enhances the natural protective barrier of the skin and maintains it in a good condition.

Menthol

Menthol is the main ingredient of peppermint oil, obtained through the steam distillation of peppermint. The oil is then frozen to obtain menthol. This volatile compound has a characteristic, sharp smell that brings a feeling of cold. It is commonly used in refreshing and seemingly cooling products (it has an effect on skin receptors, and not the actual body temperature). As menthol has the ability to deaden unpleasant itching, it is recommended for atopic skin. It also helps take care of cracking heels due to its antiseptic properties.
